Treasure
An easy 10.5 today. I didn't want it to be quite so easy, but...A neighbor was burning stuff, making the fields less desirable and there was more rain than I thought last night making the fields even less desirable. So I wimped out and ran the roads. I was strangely rewarded, finding 17 pennies on my rural route. I do tend to focus on the ground and find many "treasures" on my runs.

My run today took me on a little section of road where three middle school kids found a gym bag with $90,000 in cash in it. No one ever claimed it and the police tried very hard to connect it to a crime but couldn't and the kids got to keep it. A newspaper article about the case stated that people had reported seeing the bag there three months earlier.
