Fields

Just had four to do today so ran before we headed to Gorham. The fields are just starting to dry up. I wasn't really able to run more ground, but could run the same with less mud and wet feet.

I knew a turkey hunter had put up a blind, but was surprised to find on my return that I had run right by it on my way out. I decided I'd blame wearing my Inov8 cap frontwards instead of any lack of observational power on my part. Heading out the terrain was such I needed my head down. On the way back, it was uphill so I had my head up more often. Usually I turn the cap backwards on trails so my view is less obstructed.

I made sure I had a little left on my four when I got back home. I peeled of my shoes and socks and ran barefoot for the last little bit. Turns out I really needed to watch my footing...The dandelions are in full bloom and loaded with bees!
