Twofer

Ran just over 5 miles on the x-country track in Gorham today. The trail is a bit dull in comparison to my other Gorham trails, but hunter-free.

Later, headed to Thorncrag for just about 3.5 miles with Linda. She didn't sound all that eager to go, but was really rewarded; She saw her first pileated woodpecker...ever!!! Even without the bird, she was glad to be out once she got moving (of course).

  1. Nice job on the double, that's pretty hardcore! Cool about the pileated woodpecker sighting. Neat birds.

  2. Thanks, Jamie. Feel it necessary to fess up though; I knew I was not likely to be running the next day and that Linda probably wouldn't go out otherwise...so less hardcore more practical : )
