Prints

Today's run was pretty much like the previous two as far as trail conditions and where I ran.  I just added 3/4 of a mile, bringing the run very close to seven miles.  This time, though, I saw lots of animal evidence.  The coyotes seemed to have been very active since my run yesterday.  The firmly crusted snow topped with a dusting of powder provided the best canvas for all the footprints.  I noticed many rodent prints, too.  I hope the coyotes fill up on mice, squirrels, and rabbits so they don't need to come close to the house looking for kitties.
