7 NBs, 2 VFFs

Was able to enjoy the beautiful, sunny, warm weather yesterday running in Portland. I ran in my road shoes for seven miles through the Old Port then switched to the Vibrams for two at the Back Cove and then walked the rest of the way around. I was surprised to see my pace slightly faster in the VFF's mainly because I was meaning it as more of a cool down, easy finish. I'm not sure if it's the way I run in them or that I'm paying attention to my running where I'm really not with my regular shoes on my regular course. Especially yesterday with so many people out in the Old Port. Very good run, very good day!
