Full House

I was surprised to find others waiting for the Spa to open this morning at 6am.  In fact, I was glad to be one of the first.  Even though there are at least 12 treadmills in the room I was in, along with nearly as many ellipticals, AND there is another, bigger (according to the Spa people) workout room, there were people waiting.

I did some people watching.  I definitely identified the cliche of the Tri-Guy.  He ran very fast on the treadmill...how does that Carol King song go..."you had one eye on the mirror as you watched yourself gavotte..."  He didn't last long on the treadmill, but was equally interested in watching himself on other apparatus.  Then there were a couple people dressed in what I'd wear in 30 degree weather, people who looked like they were going to be runners who just walked on the machines, and people in non-workout gear who were good runners.

Unfortunately, I didn't get to run as long as I'd like cause I had events to get to and I was determined to get some food first.  I did finish five miles, got to grab an egg-mcmuffin-type sandwich on the way to my first event.
