Tuesday was the first run at Bradbury since Irene blew through. I expected lots of muddy puddles, but didn't care that we didn't have power yet, cause Bethany had assured Linda and I that we could shower at her house (Yay!!!). Well, there were puddles, but nothing like I expected. We have definitely had much wetter Bruisers. What there was, though, were lots and lots of twigs and leaves all over the trails. Ragan had blow downs near its beginning and end. The only other down trees that crossed Mindy's 40 for 40 route were on the snowmobile trail.
I did Mindy's route plus the Island, while Beth and Linda mostly stuck with the 40 but cutting a short piece of Fox East off. Worked out pretty good, they finished just ahead me. Linda gave me the good news that our power had come back! Maybe I should be a little ashamed of how much I missed it, but, nope.
