Another 5+ in the soggy fields. I was surprised by how warm it was. The river crossing felt good. I thought all these (what seemed like) profound thoughts about running and life. Perhaps in my next two days off, I'll try to get some of those thoughts down. I don't know if I have the writing skills to capture them. We'll see.
My only real wildlife encounter was the turtles. I couldn't believe how many plunged into the water as I ran past. The were lined up shoulder to shoulder - guess I should say shell to shell. Amazing!
I used to be very creative with writing and getting interesting thought down.....don't know what happened.
