Breaking Trail...Sort of
Bethany and I planned to be out at 2:30, then 3:30 when we missed that time. So, it was nearly 4pm by the time we actually stepped out the door. I was wearing snowshoes. The idea was for me to pack down the snow to reclaim our trail. Well, I was sinking pretty deep, past my knees in long stretches. Beth said she felt like she was running the tire-drill. We did a lot of laughing for two people struggling to breathe. One sort of loop was all we managed before I dropped off my snowshoes and we ran the snow-covered road. In 57 minutes we did 3.8 miles. Yikes!
