Bradbury Fun

Linda, Bethany and I headed to Bradbury yesterday morning to introduce Beth to the Scuffle course. The weather was still nice; the humidity hadn't built in yet. I brought my camera, knowing I'd have opportunity to take some shots since Beth is still at the run-with-walking-mixed-in stage (she did way more running than I expected though!).

I had fun actually looking at the scenery instead of just running it. Bradbury is much prettier than I knew. Too bad my camera work doesn't reflect it that well...most of the time the camera was telling me I was shaking too much (that's normal for me - not due to the run). Still managed to get a few shots not too blurry.

The bridge on the return down the snowmobile path was in the beginning phase of reconstruction. We certainly seemed to surprise the kids working on it by just going right through the long stretch of knee-deep, mucky water - made crossing it even more fun : )

After our run Bethany found one of the many geo-caches hidden at the park. It was loaded with all sorts of little trinkets. I'd taken my shoes off for the "hiking" portion of our adventure. They were happy to get back to the car.
