I decided I better run the fields today before the possible deluge tomorrow. We haven't had all that much rain lately and my course is already pretty saturated. I imagine if we get all the rain that they're predicting there may be ponds instead of bogs out there. So I got in a little over six miles.
On the hilly trails like Thorncrag or Bradbury I always turn my ball cap backwards to be able to see what's coming (not run into a tree or something). Today I had to turn my cap backwards so the sun would make me look down and actually pay attention to my footing. I had to resort to that cause the beauty of the day had me looking all around. I nearly sprained my ankle twice and got way muddier than I should have.
