Pre-Laurel Post, Post-Laurel Run

I'm going to wait for the weekend to get my race report done.  In the mean time, I ran for the first time since Laurel Highlands.  Well, the toe that Piper broke, I think, before Hali was on fire...more like being stuck with a hot branding iron for most of the race.  Today, it was just numb.  The knee that I fell and land on a rock the Tuesday before Laurel, was also weirdly numb.  The rest of me felt pretty good.  I ran about three miles in the fields.  The only time I knew I'd run really long recently was on the down hill across the street; Piper made sure we ran fast.  Then I could feel where my recently sore quads connected to the top of my legs.  It wasn't pain, but a definite sensation.  If I was a professional ballplayer, I'm sure I'd have to take a few games off.  If I were the Jedi, I'd run a 50k on Sunday.
