Laurel Highlands Ultra

My Garmin said we did 13,209 feet of elevation gain in the first 49.51 miles and 11, 559 of loss.  That's all it lasted.  I loved the course.  It was challenging, beautiful, and an experience.   There were definitely important parts: crying, barfing, mooning, finishing. That about sums it up!  And yet here's still a few more words...

Our crew, always good, are now polished and exactly what we need every aid statioin.  Rick and Pete, we really looked forward to seeing you guys.

I think Squirrel had a great quote, post-race, tending to blisters and cleaning up at Tim's, that went something like, "we left large quantities of all sorts of fluids across the Highlands."  The mooning was at the very orange, very large, honey moon in honor of Tom's moons.
