but it wasn't the run I had planned for the day. I told Rick I'd be stopping at the Brad on the way home. I really felt like I needed Brad. Half way to work, I realized I forgot my clothes. I only had my shoes - that's a switch! I debated going out at lunch to buy cheap shorts and a shirt, but...
Ended up running our fields when I got home. They have no shade, more deer flies, and, well, just fields. Still it was better than no run and the 4.5 miles helped my spirit some.
Aw man! Hate it when that happens. Pressing on and running the fields after a long day and long commute knowing the deer flies would be out is pretty badass, I'd say!
ReplyDeleteDoh. I do that sometimes too. And I agree, it is very badass to still run after a long day and then unforeseen non-Brad. 4.5 is plenty for a crummy-air-quality-day!
