Met up with Four yesterday for six miles starting at the Back Cove, out Eastern Prom and back. I reined us in a couple times when I noticed the pace down at 8:30. We ended up averaging 9 minutes miles which was more what I was aiming at. Temperatures were milder than anticipated, but the wind on the return made me thankful for my attire.
Oh! When we were almost finished, I spotted a bulldog that I recognized as the one that used to be at all the Bradbury races. Yup, the owner confirmed I was right. Only it was in '08 that she made all the races, just made it to the Scuffle in '09. She and her canine friend hope will aim for all three again this year.
