The cold, light rain felt good as Piper and I set out for a short four. It seemed to help rinse off the tension from work. Two deer with their shining eyes greeted us down by the motocross track. A little, sweet porcupine was on the edge of the woods heading over to the neighboring farmers field. Piper didn't even bark or pull. Across the street, a pair of deer tried to decide if they should bail. Instead they just moved a bit off our path. Three more watched from the edge of the field. Sweet.
Guardian deer, caring for Scout = weird algebra
