I was surprised to learn that Mindy and I had done over 77 miles for TNR. No wonder I had low battery for this evening's run! Yeah, I must have forgotten to turn off the device. Oh, well.
Mindy and I actually ran 6 miles. Mostly we talked about me: some job-related stuff and some virus/hydration/stitch stuff. Mindy is always good for sorting things out.
This evening's run was not one I was looking forward to. I haven't run our fields in a long while. Heading back past the moto-cross track, I was disappointed to see that the farmer hasn't hayed his fields. Bummer. That meant my field course was going to be pretty repetitive. I ran what there is on this side of the street and headed across the street for the hill. I was psyched to find that the mowed section now includes the path down to the beaver swamp! I had shade and the potential for a beaver sighting. My feeling about this run changed. No beaver, but it was still good. Running back, I realized I hadn't even noticed the hill; the running was going that well. Go figure! Just a nice 4.5.
77 mile TNR = just another day in the life of S & S. :>
